Having used several different plumbers in my area, this is the only one that has earned my trust. The quotes for labor and material seemed to be very honest. The were very punctual and even spent time cleaning up after a repair.Mr. O’Brien was very creative in fixing a complex problem that other plumbers did not know how to fix. I would not call another plumber again…Lucky to have found them.

Wonderful customer service….fast and very neat. I was in need of a replacement well water tank and it was installed the very next day. The price was right and saved my well pump from burning out!!!

We had these guys replace our 23 yr old Lennox furnace and central AC unit recently. They gave us a very competitive price for the job. They were able to schedule the job quickly. They told us the install would only take one day and it did. The old equipment was removed. The techs rearranged the feed from the AC unit as well as the drainage pipe for a much cleaning look than had been in place. They tested the units to ensure all was working properly, arranged for the proper permits, registered the new equipment for warranty purposes and they cleaned up nicely. Overall a very professionally done job with knowledgeable techs.

I put it off all summer and contacted O’Brien Plumbing & HVAC several weeks ago on a Friday. By Monday, a tech was at my house. Paul thoroughly showed and explained the problems with my furnace and gave me my options. I called them back on Thursday to replace the furnace and by Friday afternoon, I had a brand new unit. Everyone that I dealt with was super friendly and helpful; I’d recommend anyone in the area to look into their services.

I have used O’Brien Plumbing and Heating for several jobs in my home over the past couple of years, repairing leaking pipes and shut off valves, replacement of a hot water heater, replacement of bathroom vanity and toilet, installation of a utility sink and all associated supply lines and waste lines for each project. In each and every instance, the plumbing technicians that have done the work have always been very professional in their approach. Meeting them at the door and the technician is putting on booties so as not to scratch or damage the floors, was the first sign that the company cared about its customers. After an assessment of the work requested was completed and a price was determined, the work proceeded. It was also just the beginning as in each and every case the technician demonstrated expert technical skill, in a deliberate and cautious manner. Drop cloths were placed down; tools and equipment were carefully located so they would be accessible yet out of harm’s way. The work was completed with great attention to detail. I especially noticed this when the double vanity work was being done. The technician, Mike, noticed immediately that both waste lines were, somehow back pitched. He advised me and agreed to go deeper into the project to correct the issue. Once completed, measuring for the new cabinets was critical for where the waste lines and supply lines had to go through the cabinets. He measured and re-measured to make sure they were correct and they absolutely were. The cabinets fit perfectly! The professionalism continued when it came time for the toilet installation. A new flange had to be installed because the old one was rusted out. Not problem. Then he got out the plaster and buckets to install the toilet. I asked why the plaster and he stated that it was company policy to mount the toilet in plaster to avoid any floor water from getting to the flange and to also stabilize the toilet. This was way and above what I expected. When he finished, the toilet was perfectly installed and with the plaster around the base, it looked nicely finished and was steady as a rock. The clean up for all the jobs was excellent. As you can infer from this review, I would highly recommend O’Brien Plumbing and Heating to anyone. The price is fair and competitive with other full service companies and knowing and seeing how professional and caring the technicians are, is a direct reflection on the owner and how he runs his company.  I would never hesitate to hire them again and again.

I have had many good experiences with O’Brien Plumbing over the years, both with new installations and with emergency calls. They have always responded quickly and have performed quality work at fair prices. I will continue to use them in the future.

In the past few years we have used O’Brien for just about service they provide. Always satisfied! Always professional, always fair, always quality.
